| Dieu et mon Droit |
We arrived here yesterday and immediately set out for Amiens - to see the wonderful cathedral. And it was wonderful, as billed .... Pictured here are Conor and Ben ready to find religion.
I happened to find an inscription in the cathedral that looked very much like the BC crest - "Dieu et mon Droit" (see right).
Later that day, we arrived in the town of Arras - a little know town, at least to me, which has a huge history. More of that later ... In any event, we had a lovely dinner at a French cafe and Conor and Ben later left us to enjoy the nightlife (details uncertain ...) By this time, they had discovered the local beer Leffe, which has a distinctive clove taste.
